I recently participated in my first art walk! I think it is technically called "Friday on the Square". I have been collecting random antique picture frames from thrift stores and flea markets for a long time now and finally had the perfect time to use them! I painted them all the same color (antique white) and got mats cut. Oh yeah! and I did MOST of this the day before the art walk! I was literally painting frames in my yard in the dark the night before and praying to Jesus that they would dry in time. Stupid humid Arkansas air! I would have like more time to get ready for it, but that’s what you get when you procrastinate. It turned out well anyways and I was pleased with my shabby chic location they put me in. Pardon the not so great pictures. I had already started taking things down before I remember to take pictures and the owner of the store wanted me out of there. She didn’t say it verbally, but believe me…. I could tell!

I feel like poor little Loo gets lost among the chaos around here. She is generally pretty nice, but if I had to guess who would win in a fight between her and her 3 (almost 4) year old sister…. I think Loo would win. She is a dare devil! One of her favorite things to do is be thrown so far up in the air that it makes her let out the tiiiiniest little squeak…. and then she laughs after she is caught. She climbs anything and everything. No matter what it is she is going to climb it. That gets a little frustrating! She sings her ABC’s. She’s gifted you know. No, they don’t sound like actual letters, but she certainly gives it her best shot!

I LOVE so many of the pictures from this wedding so this is a pretty big sneak peek. I was the second shooter at this wedding which was awesome. I just stood back and watched all of the fun stuff happen. Thanks for letting me join in on your special day guys!

So this is the only picture I have edited from this session so far, but I just could NOT wait to share. I do thoroughly enjoy the shooting process of a session… I truly do, but the exact second I took this shot I wanted to run screaming with joy to my computer to look at it. I gathered my thoughts and finished up with the shoot and THEN ran to my house screaming; barely saying a hello to anyone in the path between my computer and I. Good thing this was shot on our farm basically in my backyard so I didn’t have too far to run and scream at the same time. I will share more later…. I promise!
