Alright, I had to mention a quote that my niece, who is 5 by the way, told me when I took her off for a bit to get pics by herself. It went something like this: "Hey, Kerrie, I just want you to know something. If you throw a lit cigarette out of the window of your car… even if you think it is all gone… it could land in someone’s yard and catch their house on fire. Then their house could burn down and those people wouldn’t even have anywhere to live. It can happen to the woods too. It doesn’t take much to start a big fire and that would be bad." My response: "Well, I don’t smoke, but thank you so much for telling me. If I see anyone throw a cigarette out of their window I will tell them what you told me." So… if I see you… I am now obligated to tell you. I can’t break a promise!

Okay, so I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP DSLR with lens, battery, charger, and memory card that I really don’t need anymore. It was barely used and is in like new condition. It is a really great camera, but it is just sitting in it’s bag getting lonely so I want to pass it on to someone who will use it. Let me know if you are interested!

Well… probably not, but I am moving up the ladder! That’s for sure! I recently did a shoot for the local college for their non-credit class schedule. It was the hottest day we had all year and at 11:30… all bad things for a photographer, but I made it work. I even ended up with a sunburn! I was also asked to teach a very basic non-credit digital photography class and gladly accepted. Yep… that title sums her up pretty well. I had to travel about an hour and forty five minutes away for this little ones session and it was definitely worth it! She is an expert at the "squirrel call" and lots of other animals. Thanks for being so patient and stomping through all of that wet grass girlies!

Where does the time go?!?! I recently shot little Yaya’s 6 month pics. She is this little baby here. She wasn’t feeling too well, but she still looked adorable! I had originally planned to do the shoot outside, but it was pouring rain so we moved into the living room. The show must go on, right?!?
